Position: Senior Laboratory Technician - Senior Color Matcher

Compensation: $15 - $20/hour

Position Insight:
We have partnered with Chroma Corporation to help locate a positive, hardworking Senior Laboratory Technician to join their organization. We are looking for a technically strong laboratory technician with good communication and organizational skills. The right Senior Laboratory Technician will have a minimum of 10 years of success in a laboratory and/or manufacturing environment within the plastics industry with an understanding of color, color processing, polymer processing and an excellent color aptitude. Requirements of the Right Candidate:
10
Years of laboratory technician experience in the plastics and/or color industries (or equivalent) is desired
Strong technical knowledge of colorants, thermoplastic polymers and color processing
Must have experience with injection molding, blow molding, extrusion and blending of various materials in the color business
Familiarity with lab analytical equipment and dryers
History of reliability, punctuality and the ability to consistently perform daily responsibilities with a high level of integrity
Inquisitive mind and strong problem solving skills
Positive mindset with a professional 'energetic sound' work ethic
Shift Operations: Three shift organization.
First Shift 7:00AM - 3:30 PM
Second Shift 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Third Shift 11:00PM - 7:30AM
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
