Instructional Consultant

The Instructional Consultant is responsible for strategy, design, and training deployment of Follett's solutions including but not limited to student data management system, learning management system, enterprise/web content management, records/document management, digital asset management, and other technology solutions.
The Consultant is accountable for gathering and summarizing customer goals and crafting solution deployment strategies designed to drive positive adoption of Follett solutions.
The Consultant will work directly with Customers, Product Line Management, Consultants and Follett services staff to ensure that training deployment strategies meet customers' needs.
The consultant will be responsible for building relationships in schools and districts.
Professional Learning OfferingsPlans, designs, and develops the activities associated with the training services of Follett's instructional software products to optimize customer satisfaction.
Makes decisions regarding the most effective training strategies, methods, materials and settings to correspond with the type of training needed, client needs and/or the environment in which the training will be delivered.
Maintains progressive knowledge of areas related to business, education (particularly K-12), technology, training industry topics, techniques and equipment, and making recommendations for enhancing training software, programs, materials and methods accordingly.
Trains full-time and contract trainers on training materials, including but not limited to eLearnings, documentation, and both tangible and electronic deliverables.
Customer EngagementConducts both onsite and remote, customer interviews to understand their needs, opportunities for improvement to help define the value proposition around our solution deployment.
Guides customer behaviors through relationship and best practices that provide solutions that maximize the benefits for both the customer and Follett.
Provides implementation planning, training, and consulting services to assigned clients on instructional software products.
Internal ServicesProvides recommendations to PLM regarding product enhancements based upon customer feedback, needs or educational trends.
Supports the resolution of user and support issues by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help facilitate customer satisfaction and productivity.
Job RequirementsEducational RequirementsoThree to Five Years or more experience in K-12 teaching, curriculum development or administration required.
oThree to Five Years experience in professional development delivery of software solutions, including Web-based professional development.
oExperience with the application of multimedia to online and face-to-face workshops.
oExperience with application of technology in K-12 classroom environment.
oExperience using interactive software and hardware in the classroom.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
