Vehicle Description 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Fuel Injected Coupe.
Nassau Blue exterior with Blue interior.
Engine is a 327/375 with Rochester Ram Jet mechanical fuel injection, L84 option.
Only 771 were built in 1965.
Purchased the car in 1985 with 73395 miles on odometer, car now has 91532 miles.
Items replaced or work done include radiator, seat belts, seat covers, stage 3 suspension kit, rear leaf spring,, trailing arm bushings, strut rods, battery, rear wheel calipers, rear wheel bushings, rear wheel bearings and seals, parking brake assembly, gas tank sending unit, tank straps and pads, sway bar links and bushings, front wheel bearing kit, body mount kit, front and rear shocks, front suspension rebuild kit, left and right front calipers, mufflers, master cylinder cap and gasket, Firestone 7.
75-15 nylon red line reproduction tires and wheel alignment, Engine was rebuilt consisting of crank shaft, pistons, rods, valves, rocker arms,, studs, push rods, nuts, timing gear and chain, Duntov 30/30 solid lifter flat tappet cam (Comp Cam), solid lifters, oil pump, starter, freeze plugs, clutch pressure plate, clutch disc, clutch throw-out bearing & pilot bushing, fuel pump & rod, flywheel ring gear, balancer, water pump, 5 blade cooling fan & clutch and misc.

Oil filter was removed and adapter installed to take standard oil filter.
Removed dual point setup from distributer and install an electronic system connected to a MSD 6A located in glove box.

This eliminated any point bounce and gave a nice crisp spark.
Photos of engine block numbers, head symbols, transmission numbers, fuel injection numbers and distributor numbers shown.
Rochester Fuel Injection unit was completely disassembled and rebuilt including axle link, spill valve w/o rings, plenum gasket, rebuild kit, choke seal, plenum leg gaskets, drive cable, screw & hardware kit, hose kit and fuel meter shield.
Muncie 4 speed transmission was rebuilt consisting of main bearings, synchro rings, gaskets, contershaft, needle bearings, thrust washers, shims, roll pins an shift keys.
The ring and pinion gears in the posi differential were changed from 3.
07 to 4.

The original gears are included with car.
Included with car are original oil filter, exhaust manifolds, pipes & bolts, ignition shield set, radio & speaker, power antenna, wiper wash bottle, various manuals and 2 manometers, 1- water and 1- mercury for tuning fuel injection if necessary.
There are photos of paper work when car was purchased and last appraisal from 2006.
Car was repainted and over the years has developed fine spider web cracking in the clear coat, but as you can see still shows extremally well.
There is a scrape mark on the top of the drivers fender approximately 5 long and a small crack in fiberglass rear fender.
Had clock repaired, but it seams to have a mind of its own.
